This jet fighter is made from a pattern by Dan Wilckens. I used aspen for the lighter wood, walnut for the darker wood, and paduak for the missles and exhaust. The contrast of the different woods really stand out. It's mounted on an oak stand. It's a lot of fun to cut and really makes a great show piece. It is a little top-heavy so extra care needs to be taken. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
